The ECHO Rules

ECHO’s purpose is to foster a global community of curiosity and discovery surrounding UAPs, cryptids, and paranormal phenomena. To ensure that everyone can participate freely, safely, and respectfully, we have established these rules to promote meaningful engagement and protect all members of our platform, so viewer discretion is required.

Safety

Graphic Content:
You may share evidence such as images or videos of UAPs, cryptids, or paranormal phenomena if it is appropriately labeled and does not depict explicit violence, excessive gore, or sexual violence. Threatening, glorifying, or inciting violence is strictly prohibited.

Harmful Entities:
You may not promote, affiliate with, or endorse the activities of groups or individuals involved in violence, hate, or harassment.

Child Safety:
ECHO maintains zero tolerance for any form of child exploitation. Content involving the abuse or harm of minors will be removed immediately, and appropriate authorities may be notified.

Abuse/Harassment:
Targeted harassment, bullying, or incitement against other members of the ECHO community is prohibited, and shall be removed. Respectful dialogue is expected, even during disagreements.

Hateful Conduct:
Discrimination or attacks based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, sexual orientation, age, disability, or other characteristics are not allowed. We aim to create an inclusive space for all.  Any user found participating in active discrimination shall be removed from the platform.

Perpetrators of Harm:
Content from or supporting perpetrators of terrorism, violent extremism, or mass violence will be removed. Posts disseminating manifestos or related materials are not permitted, and shall be removed.

Self-Harm or Suicide:
You may not promote, glorify, or encourage self-harm or suicide. If you or someone you know needs support, we encourage seeking help from professional resources.

Adult Content:
ECHO does not permit display or sharing of adult-themed paranormal or cryptid-related content at all, and shall be removed.

Illegal Activities:
Using ECHO for unlawful purposes, such as trafficking illegal goods, is strictly prohibited.

Authenticity

Platform Manipulation and Spam:
Attempts to artificially amplify or suppress content, including spamming links or misinformation, are prohibited. Engage authentically with the community.

Civic Integrity:
ECHO may not be used to interfere with elections or civic processes, including spreading misleading information about participation in such events.

Misleading Identities:
You may not impersonate individuals, organizations, or groups to deceive others. While pseudonyms are allowed, they must not disrupt others’ experience.

Manipulated Media:
Deceptively sharing altered or synthetic media that causes harm is not allowed. Such content may be labeled to provide additional context.

Intellectual Property:
Respect the intellectual property rights of others. Do not share copyrighted or trademarked material without permission.

Community Standards for ECHO Content

• Respect Evidence: Encourage thoughtful debate about sightings, cryptid encounters, and paranormal activities, without ridiculing others’ experiences.
• Label Clearly: Clearly mark speculative, artistic, or fictionalized content to avoid misleading the community.
• Collaborate with Integrity: Uphold a spirit of cooperation when discussing or sharing research, evidence, or personal experiences.

Third-Party Advertising

You may not include third-party advertisements, such as sponsored posts or videos, in your content without prior approval from ECHO.

Enforcement and Appeals

Violations of the ECHO Rules may result in account suspension or removal. Appeals may be submitted for review. Learn more about our enforcement approach and how to appeal decisions.

Privacy Policy

Privacy

Private Information:
Do not share private information about others without their consent, including addresses, phone numbers, or sensitive personal details. Threats to expose private information are also prohibited.

Non-Consensual Content:
Posting or sharing non-consensual intimate photos, videos, or recordings is forbidden. This includes paranormal evidence involving individuals who have not agreed to be filmed or recorded.

Account Security:
You may not use unauthorized methods to access, modify, or disrupt another user’s account or data.
